About the Property
Designed by Bill Bensley and opened in 2018, Hôtel de la Coupole channels the spirit of 1920s French Indochina in the misty highlands of Sapa. While not a historic building itself, its architecture and interiors are a love letter to the colonial era — featuring a grand dome, vintage funicular, and rooms themed around Hmong textile patterns. The hotel sits at 1,500m elevation with sweeping views of the Hoang Lien Son mountains and terraced rice paddies of the Muong Hoa Valley.
