Stately Dutch colonial mansion constructed in Menteng, Jakarta's first planned garden suburb, designed by Dutch architect P.A.J. Moojen for a senior colonial official.

1942

Japanese Imperial forces occupy the Dutch East Indies; the Menteng mansion is requisitioned as a senior officers' residence during the three-year occupation.

1945

Following Indonesian independence, the property passes into government hands and serves successive administrative functions through the Sukarno and Suharto eras.

2000
