About the Property

Perched on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, The Siam is the vision of Krissada Sukosol Clapp — anthropologist, Thai rock star, and passionate collector. Designed by Bill Bensley, its 39 suites house one of Bangkok's finest private collections of Siamese artifacts, from wooden Shan Buddhas and Ming dynasty ceramics to original turn-of-century oriental artwork. The collection is actively curated and regularly refreshed through ongoing acquisitions.
